Diamond Painting WIP & Waffle | HAED Massive Project

Since I’ve finally started working my DAC kits, which are mostly squares, I will slowly start building that leftover stash for a future HAED project.

I am brand new at this craft and purchased a couple of PaintGem kits to learn the ropes. I purchased both the flowers and the fruit kits. I kitted up the flower kit and the static!! Yes, I used the dryer sheets cut into small squares and even though I did this, the static just about tipped me over the edge. I persevered and got those diamonds into their storage boxes and started working on a flower. Fun!! I certainly hope I will become as addicted to this craft as you are, Rebecca, because I already have 4 DAC kits in my stash and am constantly looking for more. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and your "waffling" is always entertaining. Thanks for the tips, tricks, and conversations. It takes a brave (or crazy) woman to attempt such a large HAED project! Where are you going to place this after it is completed?

On the subject of names, my first name is one my parents saw in the newspaper birth announcements while pregnant with me and they loved it. My middle name (Kaylor) came from my mom's grandma, it was my Nan's maiden name and there were no males born to carry on the family name, it's not something I've ever heard either so I'm honored to keep the name alive a bit longer. We used special names for both of our boys as well. I love to hear the stories behind names, what a fun topic! 😊

Nice to see you working on this one again Rebecca 😊 I've been a bit busy today 😂 I've done 3 gnome keyrings, 4 fridge magnet hearts and 3 of the corner bookmarks .. all for family n friends Xmas advent 😁 once these are added it will only leave me 7 items to find for each box ... then I start on one for Pjelly 😂 Its hard work so I can only imagine what you and Megan have had to do to put together hundreds for all us lot 😂 you sure are our hero's 😘👍💚

On the subject of names. My mom named us 3 kids with the same initials. Clay Bradley, Carol Beverly, and Cheryl Barbara. She called my brother and sister by their middle names. But when I was born, she said she just didn’t see me as a Barbara. The cool part was my grandpa always called me Barbara. And it was super special to me. Makes me tear up with happy tears just remembering that. 🧡🧡🧡

I’ve got a HAED design in my stash for cross stitch. It’s called The Possibilities Eveelution Rainbow by Michelle Sayetta. I’ve no materials for it yet, nor the time, but it will be completed at some point! Maybe I’ll have enough diamonds by that time to do it again as a diamond painting! 😂 Thanks for the company before I have to start cooking tea. x

Are you going to be taking a break from Head with Pattern Keeper when you get this one finished? I decided I needed to get some round paintings out of the way but after using double sided tape it is taking time to get used to it. I don't think I have any more double sided glue canvases so I need to get used to it fast. My squares were so much neater on double sided glue and the 10 x10 sqares.
