I like the cut in sentiments die set a lot. I paused your video, ordered the kit and then came back to finish the video :) I’m glad that Diamond Press sends you the kits early because you do a great job at introducing them to us. I’ve noticed that you tend to show the basic way to use the kits (like the examples Diamond Press gives) and then you show something that is more “outside the box”, highlighting the versatility. You may not even realize that you do it, but it’s a perfect way to show off the kits.

Diamond Press has a lot of new items coming on HSN Craft day. I’m glad you were able to demo this because looking at the dies doesn’t give the kit justice to what you can make. I never would’ve thought to make a shaker card because the opening covers so much space. But the patterned paper, iridescent sequins, and that centura pearl bring it all together. Great card! Though, the only thing I was thinking about when you were watercoloring the bird was, “is his head on backwards?” And the just for you die is crying to be used on top of a homemade box filled with homemade treats. Yum!

Been on the lookout for your DP previews for the June HSN line up since there isn't anything on DP's FB page. I'm was on the fence on this one until I saw that you could cut out card mats with this set too. Having to measure and cut card mats is a pet peeve. I love the shaker card but my fav is the tiny little delicate "Just for you" sentiment. Soooooo darling! And you have a lot of patience pulling out the die cuts from their curly q's. I have to ask, have you heard anything about the CC Gemini being sold on Amazon, Vianney? I hope I didn't do the wrong thing, but I ordered it today. It's so much cheaper there and that makes me a bit nervous. LOL $170 vs. $249 on CC and even $279 on QVC. I got an email that my two other CC packages from May 7 left New York and "should" be here Tuesday! lol My Gemini is supposed to be here on Sunday, but one poster said it took a while for hers. *chewing nails.* LOL My waiting clock is about to run out of battery! :P

Have you ever used the purple tape? It’s great tape to hold your dies in place and it does not tare or rip your paper, it’s awesome! You should try it, if you haven’t! I'll keep an eye out for even lower tack tape like you mentioned. The die and the bird stamp aren't meant to go with each other, they are two different designs. I am just so used to the dies cutting the stamps, I figured this one did...but it doesn't! LOL!!

What if you cut out the bird and stamp the opposite side?

I showed how it's not about the image being reversed or the die, maybe it was hard to tell. It's a completely different image. The die for the bird is a bird looking forward, just standing there...the stamp is a bird that has his head turned back. They aren't even close to being the same although they look it. I hope that makes sense.
