Loved the shaker card. I searched everywhere for the THANKS half circle cut out die and can not find it. I went through every HSN diamond press dies today and visited their own website too. I'll check to insure I don't have it or similar in my collection already but pretty sure not. Your added stamp "a bunch " is adorable stamp too. Anyway great job demonstrating making a shaker card today on the fly. These would make great thank you's for holiday presents and to hostess for invites to parties etc. Make a few in advance to have when the need comes up.

Hey, Vianney! Thanks for showing the DP nesting dies! Your shaker turned out great! I love watching you figure it out! You are very creative! When the nesting dies were posted on HSN the other day, I was going to order them! I had already ordered the other 3 new sets on the first! I noticed something about the nesting dies that stopped me from ordering at that time! Under the price was listed Design-Specialty and a blue-framed box with the word Specialty in it! I’ve ordered enough from HSN to know that means there are other sets to choose from! Your video proved it! Each set was in a white sealed envelope which is how DP packages their dies for the most part! The description for the Specialty set is 26 dies for $29.95! I saw the Marquise in a different unboxing demo last night and wondered about the plastic 'plates' as well. You can see the die shapes kind of cut into the plastic and I wonder how long they will last before cracking or splitting? And how much they are to replace once they might? I hadn't heard of Diamond Press before that I'm aware of, but am VERY interested in checking them out now!

Yes. I feel exactly the same. One thing I noticed dies are already separated for you they look nice.

THese are actually super sturdy dies compared to some others. They hold up very well, I've never had an issue with a DP die.

Dies shouldn't be stuck together when you get them, that's a cheap thing done by some companies. That little metal tab left behind can cut you.

The smaller folders are about $10 for a pack of 12...it depends on the bundle. I don't know the pricing for the large folders, but I have not changed out my small folder for a few YEARS now...it cuts as well as ever. Whenever you buy a new DP die set they include more cutting folders in the kits. The reason I keep using the same cutting folder in all of my reviews is so people can see that they do warp but keep cutting. The warping doesn't cause an issue.

I love not only your ingenuity, But your adaptability. It's fun to watch how your mind works. Also, I had commented a couple of weeks ago about the CC Guillotine cutter being loose and the blade not staying up.... After I commented, I thought there MUST be a way to fix it. So I tightened the nuts on the back of it and it was great for a cut or 2 then it of course had loosened up again....so I turned it over to my husband and he added a few washers before the nuts and tightened it all up. So far so good, I still think it might loosen again and if/when it does, I will try rubber or silicone washers which is what I was hoping my husband had. It maybe could just be glued? Any hoo, for now it works great. Just thought I'd let you know. Thank you so much for ALL your videos!

Very cute card! Love the diamond Press sets. I bought the same two sets you have. When i was in college, I took an art class and we were assigned to paint someting from our home. I had a hangling spider plant that I painted. The plantastic set remeinder me of that. I went on to the HSN site and the set they show has a the tags, hexagon and diamond shapes, none of the others you have. Maybe they will sell other sets or have a special bundle with all the dies. I love the scalloped and nesting dies, but those must not be uploaded to HSN's site yet...will have to keep them in mind, really love having basic shaped nesting dies. Wow, when you were cutting the acetate, might be the first time I've heard that machine cut...I wonder if DP will make a larger metal plate for that? (and you just said that...hahaha...great minds think alike!).

I am curious if you think this set would be repetitive if you have these type of dies from other companies, or are these a smaller version ? I'm also glad you showed us how to partial die cut, there are several things I would like to do that with to add dimension, but was unsure and you have saved me the time of trial and error. I did ask my husband if he knew yours, but he said no since he retired in 2005 and his last two years were in a joint billet @DLA New Cumberland Depot (your hubby knows what that is), in fact he was hired on as a civilian after he retired and is still there. TY, Michelle! Yeah, my husband couldn't recall a Parsons, either. It's a big organization and doesn't surprise me. The biggest dies in these sets will really nicely mat a standard A2 size card, I think I measured them in the video. How many actual uses do you get from the cutting folders? Was thinking about getting one but know Im wondering how expensive replacement folders will be & how often will they have to be replaced with daily use?

I have been using the same little folder in my original since I bought it a few years ago!! LOL! I think people think bc it warps that it's no good...they still work very well. I guess if you stop getting clean cuts, then that's the time to switch out. I haven't come across that issue yet!
