Thank you for your brilliant review. Originally, the design of the base drew inspiration from the cover of The Last Ronin issue 3, and the rubble incorporated additional Easter eggs. However, the base was later simplified to cut costs.

Great review. You are 1 of my FAV TMNT streamers around ! Keep up your great work and vids . I'm waiting for Iron Studios to drop a statue cuz I just Cannot get w/ this pose and the sculpt . It looks nothing like The cover variant that it is modeled after . Pvc statues are my fav and a great entry point for any collector . I LOVE the new turtles and CANNOT wait to see what is in store for the new guys . I absolutely love the dynamic that we could get from them not actually being the same turtles and not all guys so we can get something a bit different than what we have had ( No complaints from me cuz it's D All Day ! Donatello 4 Life . Just in case all of you viewers are looking for the Almighty Neca part 1 figures . they just dropped the re release of Leo and Raph in Wal marts so get them if you don't have them yet . Retail is great price as well !

The best sculpt of the Last Ronin statue is hands down the ones done by PCS. The one with all the brothers and the one with Mikey on the motorcycle. Lol. IJS. And yes, the NECA Last Ronin figs look great. Patiently waiting for Donnie to drop 💜

I heard about the Last Ronin story arc but never got to sit down and fully read it. I got a lot of catching up to do smh. I read it just recently too. If you're into dark and gritty TMNT with less- to no goofiness, I think you'll like it. It's beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing and different from what you might be used to in terms of TMNT even the original comics. It has aspects similar to the masterpiece Dark Knight Returns which I'm sure you've read already.

Cool statue Queen 💜Love the dynamic pose that's hard to do with an articulated figure without some kind of a holder. I agree regarding Last Ronin. The art is beautiful especially with the color red being one of the main contrasting colors and also black and white flashbacks mixed in with the neo-future like icing on the cake, and it's a good old fashioned revenge story but watching your heroes from childhood die was kinda harsh lol I'd like to imagine that Last Ronin takes place in an alternative timeline 😅 NOT cannon in my book nope 😂 but it's nice to see Laird and Eastman working together again like way back in the day with a story they seemed passionate about. It will be interesting to see how part 2 plays out, I guess it's either a flashback or something completely new and different considering the ending, what do you think? Sorry for the wall of text!!

it's not the story that fans were hyped on it's more about how great it was that Eastman and Laird got to work together on something meaningful once again after decades of them not being able to agree on anything. they always had a polite working relationship and traveled to comic cons together for years but they just never could work together on anything important since the mid nineties.
