Wow, I wasn't expecting such a great figure of Jack Sparrow so soon! I remember back in 2017 I was very disappointed that we didn't get any good Pirates of the Caribbean figures for the new film. I remember wanting a Salazar as well as a new Barbossa. But all we really got were the garbage Spin-master stuff and one really good set from Lego and that was literally it. Thanks for this great review man, I'll be ordering my Jack Sparrow tonight!

It was supposed to come with a sword since that is the sheath the holster is under the jacket in the movies

That strap is for his sword. It's not a holster for a musket. He always kept his musket tucked in his belt.

Okay so I just got mine in the mail and it does include an interchangeable hand with sword BUT the sword was glued to the inside of the palm and in order for the peg to fit you have to remove the sword first and even once you do that the sword doesn't fit in his hand to well. Great figure all in all, looks cool on my display. I personally might just keep the resting hand on and leave the sword in holster

This is a pretty good Jack Sparrow figure, despite the skin tone being a bit on the light side. Jack Sparrow should've come included with a Musket as you've already mentioned, especially since there is a holster for it. I appreciate the fact that the diorama display base can be customized, whether you want to make it bigger or smaller depending on the amount of space that you have to work with. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot!

Does the sword come out of his hand .. because that holster is for the sword not the gun

I wish they update Tia Dalma her past figures were pretty shot. A new update figure would be awesome.

The Walgreens one has a hand and sword for that scabbard.. but the hand was glued and I had to warm it up and peel paint to get it out.. I don't really understand the Walgreens versions of Ds figs having less stuff.. this time it's extra strange.

Sad, that we never got good figs from the potc-series. I love the artstyle of Norrington, Becket, Tia Dalma and Davy Jones.

The “holster “ is actually for a sword. The belt across his chest is called a Baldric Sword belt. Captain Jack usually keeps his Flintlock Pistols in his sash. Great review like always!!

The holster is for the sword and a musket would be too big for waist holding. It instead would go on his back. Are you talking about a pistol?

My favorite Pirates of the Caribbean was the first one. It's a classic. Part 2 is Dead Man's Chest, by the way.

I like the look of Diamond Select statues but I just don’t care for their 7” scale figures. Vigo from Ghostbusters II would be the exception to that rule. Tremendous figure.

The light skin is probably the way Jack looks after a bath. Pirates aren't exactly known for their stellar hygiene

Tbh I'm not that impressed. The hat isnt removable. The colour isnt correct on some of the detail, i.e from this movie Jacks hair was pretty much a washed hombre blonde not black and Like the giy says the skin complexion is too light. And NO PISTOL!?? WTF! Although not as poseable, for the price give me a NECCA over this any day.
