Good video, thanks. I've got a tri-band one that has burnt capacitors, its the 144/430/1200 MHz version, this will give me a start for the repair, thanks , Ian VK2LA. Not sure about the capacitors in the 23cm version. Mine was near a storm so the PCB's are a bit fried as well.

Hello, anyone knows the values of the capacitors?. My middle element capacitor is 3C (i guess 3pF) , my bottom element capacitor is burned - not the one that is near the N-connector, the other which is on top of the bottom element. Thanks in advance.

over wrap the joints with splicers tape after assembly/cleaning. see x700 vids here

Is it possible to tell us the value of the capacitors in the stages and what voltages are used. I'l told they do not like a lot of power applied. I'd like to use 200W on 23cms, 150W on 70cms and 220W on 2m. I think that before I purchase, I need to buy in the caps to something rated more to my liking.

The X7000 is rated to 2m 100w, 70cm 100w, 23cm 60w. Total combined power is only 100w. An upgrade to the capacitors could improve the rating however it may not be the only limitation.

A have an faulty Diamond X7000 here on my desk. There is an small disk capacitor in the middle destroyed by water. I´m not able to read the capacitor value. Did anybody know the right value ? Thanks for help. DL6DBZ, Markus

15pF is common for the 70cm part of the band. I suggest that you change for one rated to 4KV. They are only pennies. Also, use self amalgamating tape on all the joints, right over the top and back again.

I vould like that Too But all these BOZOES.. doesn`t get the IMPORTENS of Standard Capacitor Values So the """ retard level "" is high with some amaturs..
