True story- I grew up with Marty in church here in Ohio. When we sings hymns (we did not use music instruments as we were Protestant) and he’s probably 8-10 years older but we all belonged to the youth group and he would give me absolute chills when he would hit those high notes at church. I was like 7 when this song came out. My grandmother and I made a game out of this song. We would say "I'll meet you at..." and name the craziest places. Its a fond memory I have of her. this song reminds me of piling in the old Chevy truck when I was young and going to work on the pig farm. yes we had a huge pig farm. I miss going there. it tough me hard work pays off. I miss my grandma. she has passed and I come here to listen to these old song when I feel sad and miss her really bad. it helps.
