I just completed my 1st DIYmoonshop as well!(the Ghostmaker by Tanya Shatseva) and I LOVED it! I agree with you on the drills- I had 1 really bad color, and 2 others were slightly bad, but they (rounds) had extra resin around the edges- I haven't seen ones this bad before- but I had plenty of drills to pick through so it was fine, and besides the 3 colors, all the others were perfect. I ordered on June 29 and I received it Sept 24- so 3 months as well- but I had zero problems with the sticky. I wish I could afford them all the time, because the artwork and renderings are absolutely incredible. It's nice to see something different in artwork that you don't see on every other dp site. I’m cautiously optimistic that the adhesive issue was a fluke, but we’ll see. I have an October order that just shipped today, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! Ohh I love her. She came out gorgeous and the rendering is really fantastic! One of my favorite things about diamond painting is getting to be crafty without creativity. I’ve never been good at crafts at all because I don’t have a creative or artistic bone in my body, but something relaxing that allows me not to think or stress about what I should do next? Sign me up! I am playing with Sparklers for the first time and it may be a little extra, but it’s so much fun! I’m going ham now so I can be delicate handed when I work on my DIYMoonShop kit! 🤗

YES! I’m the same exact way! For me, diamond painting is perfect because I get to turn my brain off and de-stress, but I still end up with something beautiful in the end. A little dash of creative stretching is okay, I suppose 😉 I can’t wait to see you work on your DIY kit!!

Great honest review! You did a great job on the treatments! I don’t know how you were able to keep from using them all! 😆 I used every last one of mine! I ordered in may and early June and I didn’t have trouble with the adhesive. I hope it’s something that can be fixed because I love this company. I agree their art is one of a kind!

You know we’re pretty well on the same page in what we look for and prioritize with diamond painting kits, friend! So I’m optimistic that the concerns I had will be fixed... I’m very curious to get my order that just shipped! 🤔 And that’s so funny - I felt like I was really heavy-handed with the special treatments 🤣 I’m going to stash the rest away!

This is a beauty! ❤️ I have a Margaret morales painting too. I noticed with the kits I just received that both square and round drills (the last was the mystery painting) were in ziplock bags, that’s different from my current ones, so maybe they changed it already. That would be great, because I’m having trouble with some colors. Though that’s not a huge issue, because they indeed give you plenty of drills!

After your review I decided to get a diymoonshop painting and OMG it's beautiful but it's also MASSIVE compared to my 30x40s. It had do many colours and I spilled them a couple of days ago and they are all over my room and my desk. PRAY FOR ME 🙏

I've been dying to buy this one but their site really confuses me! I feel like the photos don't match up to what the square or round renderings will end up looking like. The pics look very similar to me! 😵😬 So I'm having a hard time with which size to pick and whether to get square or round! Will the image be clearer with squares? Is yours the larger 60x75 size or the smaller 45x56? Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry to hear that! I believe that they've made some changes and upgrades recently, but if your kit is giving you too much trouble, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to them to let them know.

So for suuuureeee I like to DP because i can zone out and dont have to be "creative" or really think much about what I'm doing. In my daily life i have to do so much so that's a huuuge positive note for me to be able to not think lol. Also, I've been wanting to get a DIYMoon shop and I dont think I can get one WITHOUT the special treatments! But I was really nervous about it not being charted! Like wait, I gotta figure out where to out these? On my own?? Like by myself?! Lol so I was contemplating should I add them as I go or should I finish and pick out the drills?? So glad you gave a review and how you did it. Picking out ALL THOSE DRILLS tho seems like a pain but the way you explained it I think that might be the way to go for me too. Just dont think I'd be able to tell where to put them as I'm working on it ya know? Thanks for the post review! This was awesome and really informative and helped me with my decisions and how I'm gonna go about mine when I get it! This piece turned out gorgeous and now I'm extra excited for mine! Hoping they have worked out all the kinks since then!!

It really was a pain to pick out SO many drills, but honestly, it was less stressful than trying to guess where to put them as I went. Maybe on some other canvases it’ll be more self-explanatory? Hi Toni! It takes a little bit of practice but try single-placing and centering the drills over the symbol.

You do such thorough and thoughtful reviews, and that is so appreciated! This canvas is STUNNING!!! I think your assessment of the summer adhesive situation is spot on. I didn’t have this experience with DIY Moon Shop, but I feel like when some of the other factories were in a production rush after Covid lockdown, they put their covers down before the adhesive was fully cured. That is my very non-professional guess. 😂 This is one if the prettiest canvases EVER! DIY strikes my pocket book again!! 😂

Thank you! I’m glad it was helpful ☺️ In this case, I definitely thought the v3 was worth it. To me, the best special treatment enhancement was all the extra sparkle in the star by her hand, and the circles floating around her. And those were the electric diamonds that came with v3.
