Hello, I'm a new diamond painter that started in April. It's a craft that I never expected to be so relaxing to me, it's helped with my anxiety also so that's a plus side. This video I watched/listened to while I'm diamond painting. I'm ready to buy a larger canvas and those princesses were beautiful, one of those might just be my next one lol. I did a chuck Pinson sledding to town it was the worse canvas I have ever done . It was by dreamers design. Don't think ill do another from him. To much confetti for me. And it was a blurry canvas. Starry Santa was a dream for me to work on.. I will have to try some of these companies. I stick with DAC only because I love their quality and they have license art work..

I’m really behind on KZbin video’s but had to watch this one! Lots of beautiful finishes. I love your distracted by diamonds finishes 😍. My first distracted by diamonds (Night Garden) is on the way, yay. I’ve finished 8 this year, so not as productive lol. My biggest was sneaky cat 107x 52 square. My first diamond painting was a 60x60 square drill owl with lots of confetti. So I dived right in 😁. Maybe that’s why I still like squares with lots of confetti 🧐😁

I did! Gosh, I still cringe when I think of the massive blocks of color I painstakingly single-placed...and the time I could have saved with a 15-placer. Oh well! I enjoyed it at the time, for the most part, so I can't complain too much. And yay for a fellow Mandie fan!

Beautiful paintings. I too love Mandie Manzano's artwork. DAC does a terrific job rendering her work. I have Halloween Kitty and Dawne. I haven't started Dawne yet. I started one square of Halloween Kitty but put it aside to work on Bubble Fairies instead. I started Diamond Painting in late January. I was browsing through a Herrschner's catalog when I saw a Diamond Dotz kit of Mickey. It peeked my interest so I started goggling Diamond Dotz. I did not know it was a brand of diamond paintings. I saw some videos and it seemed like a pretty easy thing to do. I eventually went on Amazon to see if I could buy the same image and found another Mickey one I liked better. It is Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto having a birthday party. I too did not realize the huge copyright infringement issue in diamond painting. I just assumed that someone selling these images would have the right to do so. My second canvas was The Belly Dancer by Diamond Art Club. It was 51x76 square. It was my first square and after I finished I thought I would never do a square again. My third canvas was a Valentine's Gift from my husband. It is of a cottage. Of course it is entirely too small and you can't tell what it is. He bought me about 5 kits off Amazon and they are all too small and pixelated. But I really appreciate the thought. I too started out only single-placing. I just started multi-placing last month. My biggest finish is a 100x80 square and I single-placed that whole canvas. I have only completed 17 paintings.

I hope you love working on it ☺️ We live in a small space so I don’t have much wall space for hanging, and to be honest, I tend to go for less sparkly and instead more muted textures in my home decor, so diamond paintings would almost feel out of place to me. New to your channel, this was fun! I honestly don't know how many I've done. I started around the same time, late March, and diamond painting is now a fixture in my life. I had bought one from Amazon a couple years ago and had never done it, I admit I wasn't a believer. I found it in my embroidery supplies and decided to do it. Hi Mya! My mystery swap partner and I both bought our kits from AliExpress, specifically from the EverMoment store. We just made sure to message them before and/or right after placing the order to let them know to hide the image on the schematic and the inventory sheet. They seem to do these often enough that it was an easy enough request for them to take care of! I hope that helps!

I didn't start multiplacing until this year I've been doing this since 2018. I did my first square with tweezers lol it was I think 40/50 it took me a month but it was a gift so I wanted it perfect. I'm no longer worried about perfection they look good from a distance 😂. I love your choices I love colorful paintings they are such a joy to work on. I’m glad I first started counting how many I r done when I started my IG, because I’ve since given a lot of them away and would have the hardest time figuring it out now 😂 I need to be better this year about taking photos and keeping track of my finishes. Currently, I store my completed canvases flat in a (very) large artist portfolio bag. As far as projects I haven’t worked on yet, if they came in a box (like DAC) then I leave them in the box. If they came without a box (like DIYmoon Shop) then I store those canvases in another artist portfolio bag with their drills in a separate tote. Let me know if that didn’t make sense, or if you were curious about anything else with that!

@@DiamondsandWashi I'm a DAC girl. I did get two from Craftibly the presentation was nice but didn't like the dark symbols on the dark it is hard to see. It's not clear like DAC. All of my uncompleted are still in their boxes. I'm looking to find a portfolio to fit the DAc completed canvases.

@@ethandebirice7047 You can’t go wrong with DAC! ☺️ If it’s helpful, this is the portfolio I use. There’s a range of sizes - I’ve found that the 24 x 36 inch fits almost all of my canvases. If you get the really massive or super long ones (like the Mandie Manzano princess banners, or the Randal Spangler Fireflies one I just unboxed here on the channel) those are a lot harder to find a portfolio they’ll fit in flat. Hi Katie I just subscribed to your channel! I really enjoyed all of your dps, all which I would enjoy doing too. How in the world did you do 24 in a year? Do you get a lot of time to work on diamond paintings? I'm jealous, lol, cause I also started diamond painting in March but I dont think ive done half that much. I started with Christmas cards and really enjoyed it. I did like 9 notebooks and bookmarks for gifts and a larger dp for my nephew's wedding and one for my daughter. I actually have a large stash but it's too fun to keep looking at what's out there. I'll be checking out your other videos!

It’s a bummer, for sure. I just eyeballed it, honestly, looking at the original artwork and then trying to mirror the colors in his other hand. If you like, I shared some up-close pictures over on my Instagram account, right around Halloween, and you could take a look there, too!
