This is a Tommy Profitt dark cover of, I Can't Help Falling In Love. Elvis's version is happy and sweet in a major key of music. Tommy's is in a minor key that portrays dark, ominous, anguish, obsession and even in this song.......... like a sickness or virus that is spreading with no hope stopping. The shear amount of emotion that Diana delivered in this performance is beyond explanation. While receiving comments from the other performers and guest judge, Diana said.....I'm still shaking, my body is resonating. I'm sure pure adrenaline was coursing through her veins. As a musician this has happened to me a few times, it's unnerving to say the least. Bravo Diana!

Who is Diana Ankudinova? Diana was born in May 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had many pregnancies, only Diana survived ... and she abused the child and tried to drown it. One day this 3 year old child was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. There she finally found love ... by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist who treated the children from the children's home. Diana came to a poor but loving family when she was 5 years old. Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared, but she could all sing songs from cartoons. A doctor recommended singing lessons. Niesamowite co mówisz o jej dyskwalifikacji do szkoły muzycznej. Właśnie to jest problem zakutych łbów na różnych uczelniach. Ja trafiłem trochę inną drogą na śpiew Diany i od razu powiedziałem: Oo! Oryginał! Niestandardowy głos. Później jak kolejne utwory przesłuchałem, to stwierdziłem że może być mediumicznym wokalem. A już napewno totalnie potrafi oddać się intencji, emocji itd. W każdym kraju instytucje mają swoje klapki na oczach - w Japonii konstruktor Minato nie mógł opatentować silnika na magnesach neodymowych, bo miał sprawność 116 procent 😜 Według małych, betonowych głów nie ma prawa, bo w szkole tego nie było. Więc dostał patent w USA (żeby nafciarze go nie zabili, produkował tylko małe silniki do wentylatorów). Wracając do Diany, ukochana istota i modlę się by mogła nam szarpać dusze i serca. Tylko żywa sztuka tak działa 🥰🤗💓

At the age of about 13 she auditioned on a show for children and sang/yodeled. It is called 'Jodel Time'...really extraordinary...the audience absolutely loved her but the judges didn't turn their chairs around, even though they were obviously fascinated by her voice. They asked her to sing something else and she sang a French song acapella...but she was not chosen. What did she do? As the audience cheered her, she went up and gave the judges a hug! Completely captivating performer, even at the age of 13! And also you could do 'Wicked Game' and 'Rechenka' both at the age of about 15 in singing contests... utterly spectacular voice! Also she sings a beautiful and uplifting 'Into the Sky!' Enjoyed your comments on her....the background is as extraordinary as the performer. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment. Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on KZbin. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of KZbin 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers. Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Thank you for the link! Never heard it before, and hearing Diana before the vocalist there didn't probably make justice to her. It sounded like she was taken over by the events in the song. On the other hand, Diana sees it for what it is, goes straight in the battle, and comes out shaken, but alive. Well; First--Diana's voice is the lowest register below Alto; she is a Contralto. Second--She is Polyphonic; she can sing with two voices AT THE SAME TIME. Third--She can take her voice up to Mezzo Soprano; very few Contraltos can go up there. I hope this helps.
