Great reaction! She was 15 when she sang Human. If you like her stage presence and that tribal sound you should listen to Rechenka (The River) which she sang at 14. It is based on Russian folktales about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2HWnZx-qM94qJY Ironically, Diana herself was an orphan who was abused and abandoned by her alcoholic mother at age 3. Greetings from Scotland! Impossible to classify Diana's voice because it's an anatomical thing and she is absolutely unique! You're not the only one to never have heard a voice like Diana's - nobody has ever heard a voice like Diana's! This was 15yo Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You are Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo. She's a natural dramatic contralto (VERY deep!) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok. Diana now lives in an apartment in Moscow because It makes it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia. She has an extensive entry in Wikipedia now which explains her sad bur very inspirational early childhood. She is 18yo and she has already sung in *7 languages, Russian, English, French, Spanish, German, Ukrainian and Arabic!!!* As you view more of her 500+ performances, covers and originals, you will see this is the tip of a giant iceberg! Diana once said in a TV interview "In principle, if you don't sing with your soul, you probably don't sing". That's what makes her so different, she is always 110% committed to her artistry! Check out something earlier when she was just 13yo in her very first solo concert, singing in a very rare Sephardic/Spanish dialect a very emotional song called "Me Voy" (I'm leaving!)
