A very light and, to me, happy song about summer love. What I take away from it is a young girl has a summer romance while on holiday and when it is time to go she sings of meeting again. So, not incongruous and a reflection of what happens to so many young boys and girls on holiday. The video is fairly well synced with the Russian that Diana is singing in. It is obviously not a professional shoot, someone else has mentioned that it was shot by Diana's mother while they were having a break between concert tours. Diana funds everything herself so many things get done on a shoestring budget, but the singing is always world class.

I think you are confused about the lyrics, she is separated from her love by distance not permanently, so she wants him back with her to enjoy the same feelings they had that summer when they were together so it is a song about longing. The video is something she did at her summer holidays it is nothing official just a warm video to go with the song. I am a solid DA fan but I too have noticed in some videos she smiles when perhaps a look of sadness (or in this case a frown or a pout) might be more appropriate, so you're not alone! In this case, it's understandable since the context (she wrote the lyrics to this song) suggests a light, summer romance, which as you point out injects even more variety in her repertoire. If you watch videos of her concerts you see the impressive range of styles she's capable of.
