👉 Diana took part in the Russian television competition 'Шоумаскгоон' (ShowMASKGoOn, Nov.2021), her first competition for adults. The rules of the competition : 9 winners of the previous shows 'The Mask', 'Superstar' and 'You are Super' participated in this new format (9 episodes) and had to sing in 9 categories. The guest of honor (a different one in each episode), who sits with the candidates, also awards 9 bonus points to his favorite. Categories: Folk Hit, Song at the End of the 20th Century, Soviet Song, Pop Hit, Song of Your Choice, New Music, Song from Cartoon or Film, Rock Hit, Grammy. At the same time, the participants are also the jury and had to evaluate each other (2-9 points). You couldn't give yourself any points. The 9 participants had to prepare the songs assigned to them for themselves and for the stage. This also included pre-recordings of the background vocals. The participants mastered the show with flying colors. If it looked like tough competition at first they decided to be friendly and humorous ... it was great to see the show.

She is very able to use different placements and tonalities in her voice. There will always be a bit of that darkness due to her natural timbre being very different, but she can brighten it up and sing more delicately as well. And she can do more contemporary singing styles. If you want an example of that I suggest you listen to a recent Duet she sang with Bandon Stone. The first has to do with lyrics that match her darker sound. Here you can hear the cyclical repetition of the text and the rise and fall of the tone and the long, almost mournful stretching of the voice, like the wind. It's very traditional style. It is a common mistake of reactors to review a couple of Diana Ankudinova's songs and think they have a handle on her 'style'. Комментарии, мягко говоря, дискуссионные. Диана Анкудинова получила все свои богатые дары уже в комплекте: и голос, и внешность, и эмоциональность, и энергетику. Таков был скрытый от нас замысел природы (или Бога). Чтобы всё это действовало на нас целиком, нераздельно. Поэтому рассуждения о том, как бы её воспринимали, будь у неё другая внешность - совершенно бессмысленны. А при анализе данной песни нужно задать вопросы: уместно ли такое использование голоса в этой песне? Решает ли оно художественные задачи? Оставляет ли цельное эстетическое впечатление? Каково качество вокальной работы? Удалось ли нам услышать насыщенный, объёмный, однородный звук? Владеет ли она вокальными инструментами должным образом? Ответ на все эти вопросы однозначно положительный. Плюс ко всему этому мощная энергетика, эмоциональное наполнение, убедительный сценический образ. Очевидно, что этому блогеру явно не хватает выхода в сверхвысокую тесситуру - то, что больше всего любят и ждут от многих певцов. У Дианы Анкудиновой есть очень хороший диапазон, - просто в данной песне он был совершенно неуместен. Но многие из тех, кто её слушает, не понимают, что у неё есть ещё более важный талант - огромный жанровый и стилистический диапазон, - с которым не может сравниться ни один современный артист. Для этого нужно послушать подряд несколько её песен любого периода - и хорошо подумать, кто ещё способен на подобное поразительное разнообразие. Сколько найдётся артистов, способных на таком уровне исполнить, например, " What a Wonderful World" или "Огонёк"? Но чтобы об этом судить, нужно оценивать не такие всем понятные качества, как диапазон и высокие ноты - а вещи более сложные и менее очевидные: умение работать на небольшом пространстве, богатство вокальных и эмоциональных красок, игру интонаций и тембров, искусство фразировки...

Под разными роликами с Дианой Анкудиновой я оставил уже больше сотни комментариев, более-менее содержательных. Их, как ни странно, читают. Есть пара десятков постоянных читателей, с которыми я не знаком, но уже помню их имена. Вот для них я и пишу. Некоторые мои тексты иностранные читатели перевели на английский язык. KZbin - просто удобное место для подобных небольших текстов; на них можно взглянуть спустя некоторое время - и вспомнить, что же я думал по тому или иному поводу. И разумеется, я не жду никакого отклика от этих многочисленных блогеров-реакционеров - им просто некогда читать все эти комментарии...

Diana uses many different voices. I don't really understand what you're looking for. So, it's tough to know what to suggest; especially since you've already seen 90% of her range. "Rechenka" and "Ornery Horses" are two of my favorites. But she has many great performances. "Blizzard", "It's a Man's World ", "They Hit Us, We Fly", "Snow is Falling". I could fill the page. Мне нравится вариант этой песни Пелагеи. Очень даже. Но Диана спела так, как бы спел её я . Как пел мой отец за праздничным столом. Его мама, моя бабуля. Спела бы так же.
