Diana i can relate to the problem in your marriage. My marriage also lasted for a year and my husband lived in her mum's house as well. He would tell his mum everything that happens between us i got so angry. My ex was also in his 40,s. In the end i packed my things and left the house as i have a much more better place to go. My life has moved from grass to grace since i left that marriage and don't intend getting married any more. I believe in Diana's case her mother in law had a spiritual relationship with his son
