So disappointed that at age 81 (2017) I have only just discovered this wonderful performer. Jazz fm played her recording of "Better than anything" which totally blew me away. How tragic that she dies so young. Nevertheless, over 8 million have listened so she is still remembered. Thank you Jazz fm. May we have a little (or lots!) more please.

I've been mesmerized by this lovely song ever since I first heard it on the Sergio Mendes BRAZIL 66 album (released in '68) and sung by Astrud Gilberto (of Girl From Ipanema fame). That album contains some of the most beautiful songs ever written. I spent many a night listening to it by candlelight, sipping a glass of red wine, transported to a magical place.
