I took my husband to see her show, at the Hollywood Bowl, for our anniversary, August 25, 2012. I had arranged with Ms. Krall's fan club, to go backstage afterwards. We got to meet her and got a pic of her with my husband. Her people were awesome to arrange that, for my husband, who had terminal brain cancer. He died several months later...

As a young girl trying to get out of the emptiness of pop music, I browsed the Jazz section in a music store one day and found a CD cover with a young beautiful woman on the cover with my name. I knew nothing about jazz at the time but I took a chance and bought it and have been a fan since. You were my first step in learning to love all types of jazz music. You feel she's in a trance, like she's embodying the song ... she's so cool, but it's almost like her eyes are puffy from crying, and this is the lucid moment that's come after the tears. She's an actress and singer, really combined, totally at one with the music. Love her.

So seasoned, oozing with natural musicianship and music is her soul. This is true talent from Ms Krall and her band, with no rubbish auto-tune needed! Been a fan for decades! Shes a beast on the keys! Looks like Lisa Presley.

This is one talented woman. I remember buying Billboard magazine and when she released an Album she would hold the number one spot for months and then I found out why. Her music is out of this world.

For me beautiful music is something you can dive into and do not pay attention you've drown. Something when you suddenly understand it's stopped playing and it is too quite in the room.

Next to Julie London's version, this one would be my preference. Simple, but beautiful, pure jazz and vocal tone.
