En estos "tempos" con mucho swing, Diana esta mejor que nunca y ademas pone en marcha a todo el combo...Que buenas las intervenciones del guitarra... como le responde el bajo y finalmente como cierra el bateria y como se entienden todos en los cuatro-cuatro...Son todos unos maestros de autentico lujo y Diana ademas ha evolucionado y mejorado mucho. Tambien esta mas guapa con su nuevo look echandose el cabello atras y despejando la cara...pero esto es lo de menos...Lo que importa es lo bien que toca dentro del new-bop que hace ¡Enhorabuena!

Cuando oigo un combo tan conjuntado y swinguistico como este, es cuando me dan ganas de explicarle a todo el mundo, incluidos los profesores y alumnos de las Escuelas clasicas de musica y Conservatorios (por los que pase con aprovechamiento), que no hay en toda la Historia de la musica, una tecnica tan completa y avanzada de tocar, crear e improvisar musica, como la que se da en este genero del jazz contemporaneo con este estilo, que podemos enmarcar dentro de la Escuela renovada del be-bop, llamada new-bop. El musico de jazz, es en este sentido el profesional mas evolucioinado salido de una Escuela de musica , donde ha tenido que estudiar, el desarrollo mas avanzado de la Armonia, con sus acordes de "trecena" y la relacion mas completa entre escalas y acordes que implica sus formas naturales y extendidas y sus inversiones muy complicadas. Pero esto no es mas que una modesta expli cacion del significado de este género, que lo mas conveniente es volverlo a oir con unos buenos auriculares para oir claramente las lineas precisamente del contrabajo que cuando se interpreta bien es un placer de dioses.Que les sea de provecho y volverlo a oir.

I own quite a few music\concert dvd's and this is one of the best. There have been days I've set the player to repeat mode and let it go all day long. Other than her sensuous allure you've got great editing, camera work, a group of musician's that are truly having a good time together while playing a great setlist. Oddly enough, I found my first copy of this in a bargain bin for under $10. After hearing and watching it I'd gladly pay $50 just to make sure I have a copy of it in my collection.

Mr jazz critic please back up your statements (If you can). Diana has a non complex style with smooth phrasing, tempering flows and very good improvisation acumen. She enjoys wide appeal and praise from her peers. So go back to the Disney Channel and to the music you understand.

Like I said, just your opinion. And a minority one given the ratio of views and dislikes. You don't like this type of music. Fine. But the music you like is probably boring as hell to many. That is how it works. We all got opinions and that is all they are. If you have a better time watching paint dry , then why not do that instead of watching something you do not like ? Seems odd to me.
