And what Diana emits when she's on stage performing it shows she actually Love's what she does you cannot fake that , and we feel her raw honesty & love & passion coming from her . There are times when Diana 's been in concert and the level of energy - love happiness and joy would be so strong so high energy it would almost feel like what you're feeling this just could not be just concert this woman is that capable to take you to a level unreal .I know because I've seen and been to one such concert, and I've been to a number big her shows. When in rare form this woman can bring it full force.and some I guess what I'm trying to say is Diana's concerts are very good , better than most ,but when she is in rare form she is quite capable of taking you even higher. So when she says she enjoys in this clip about her enjoying and loving what she does and find it an honor, I believe her having been to numerous concerts .

In just about every interview that Diana does, she talks about her kids. You cant tell that her kids are the highlight of her life.

The same think that person tell about me. Sometimes I'm lovely and kind, and sometimes I'm rude and horrible. It depends from the person. If they makes the wrong thing at the wrong moment you can't be lovely with them. Just an hypocrite smiles to you when he wants to kill you. I think Diana is very sincer and honest person. I love her

About what you said about Diana Ross seeming somewhat defensive in US interviews & joyful overseas-I look at it how we all are towards our immediate families but when we get around our other relatives(aunts, uncles, etc), we act innocent & kinder. I think it's 'cause Diana is more comfortable being herself in the states 'cause it is her home & she is more familiar with it. She also probably had the idea of Europe being more elegant and tasteful and wanted to impress them w/ the same mannerisms.*

It was stage make-up. When performing, artists go a little heavier on the make-up bcuz it looks different from the audience. It's the same way with television/movie make-up.

optimistic719 why do you say poor Diana? She looks like she was doing very well here. Poor Patti. Using such antics with the loud singing and screaming she did that night at the Apollo. She only made herself the talk regarding that performance for years after as trying to upstage Diana Ross. Diana just can stand on a stage and the audience is all hers. The gift...

@@happydrunkmeansober Yeah...I get them feeling that way but...Diana has a voice too and she can definitely sing. Let's not get that twisted. Everyone doesn't have to sing very loud or do vocal acrobatics to be a good singer. In other words... everyone doesn't have to sing like Patti to be considered the better singer. There are people who do not believe Patti's a great singer either. Some say she screams too much. So...its really all about what you like and prefer. But, Diana is more than just a voice. She had star quality from early on. That "It" factor. And she is great in movies. There's a reason for why she was chosen and she has the career to show it. I just don't like when people knock someone and lessen that person talents. It's not nice. I do understand and respect your opinion.

@@happydrunkmeansober LOL! I'll cut her slack to. I got to see a great show in 08 called divas with heart at radio city music hall in NYC. It was for some heart foundation. The show had Patti Labelle,Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight and Diana Ross. I'm telling you it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Each of them did they're own mini concert. Gladys opened Chaka was 2nd Patti was 3rd and Diana closed the show. You really get to see how each of them do their own thing and why they are all equally great. But...Diana is my favorite and has always been so I was extra when hyped about her. She just knows how to perform and has always moved me with her music. But then again I have always been moved by Patti and Aretha's music to. But Diana just has something extra that makes me crazy about her. happydrunkmeansober...we both know our music and artist. 👍
