I know most people associate this and other songs like it with old flames, but for me these kind of songs will always make me think of my grandma. And listening to them with her riding in her 88 civic on Lite 102.9. The cars long gone. The radio station is long gone, and there's no telling how much longer my soon be 88 year old grandma will still be around. I always thought back then how corny these songs seemed. But I had no way of knowing the core memories her and I were forming, and how fondly I'd look back on this music and think about how much she meant to me over the years. When her time finally comes, im sure I'll be back here bawling my eyes out missing her. But for now I'll still smile and remember those days, even if she can't. ❤

This is the one song my Mother and Father would sing to each other when I was very young. 3 days ago my Father passed away in his sleep, just 5 months from my mother passing away.
