@@jillrossiter8757 Since you are close to Miss Ross, maybe you can tell me why she left the Supremes to go "solo." That is a question I would have asked from the audience. I ask this question because ever since Miss Ross gave her first "solo" show she has needed at least three singers on stage with her to take the place of the other Supremes. In this show, she has four singers with her! That is not exactly solo.

@@jackjules7552 What a ridiculous statement . All performers whether there in a band or not and particularly solo artists all use backing singers . If you have ever attended a Diana Ross concert you will know the backing singers never take president …similarly neither did ‘the Supremes’ .

Miss Ross left Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard (later Cindy Birdsong) so she could have a "solo" career. But yet ever since Miss Ross gave her first show as a solo artist she has needed at least three or more singers on stage with her to take the place of Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong. In this show, Miss Ross has employed four singers to sing with her on stage. I imagine she went "solo" just so she would not have to share the adulation with the other Supremes.

Jack, you make no sense. Most artists have a full band and backup singers to accommodate them when they perform live shows, especially when they are involved with doing a lengthy tour or playing in a big arena or a salient and historical venue. Plus, most songs are made with background singers helping out. In some cases, artists will even have dancers that accommodate them as well. She had her share of them also.. She has even had Orchestras to accommodate her performances at the highest level for dignitaries and special events. It's called Show Business! Where is your logic? It doesn't sound rational to me. She is the Epitome of what you call Success! Recognize, sir!
