Uconn greats...Dee, Maya, Stewie, Sue, Tina....Paige. Perhaps if during the last 3 seasons, just once, Uconn had made it to March with more than 6 healthy players, Paige would also have her Natty. This season is looking different. Uconn is absolutely stacked with talent and is much healthier, with Azzi returning soon.

You can make a case for Paige being most impressive. As a frosh, with all of the pressure on her, she took a team if 7 freshman to the final four and would have easily made the finals if her bigs hadn’t missed 18/23 layups! As a Soph, she missed the regular season snd still led UConn to the finals( when no one showed up), and she had one of the greatest lost seasons ever. She then missed an entire year, then last year sheed a team if 7 players and 2 freshmen starters, playing out of position, to the final four. She was also a bad call away from the finals. That was utterly heroic and she was other worldly in the post season. She’s been unbelievable. This year she actually has help and depth. They are a major threat tk win it all, especially since they can full court pressure all game and SC doesnt have the guards to hane it, no rim protectors, and their 3 pointers will be challenged because UConn has depth to play hard every losession and finally has a few rim protectors which will allow the perimeter defenders to challenge 3’s more aggressively and further out. I actually think ND and Texas are bigger concerns
