Accomplished (past tense) & pretty much finished. At the time she wasn't better than Diggins at that stage of their careers. DT's resume can't go out there and guard her man or help her poor shot selection. Classic "resting on your laurels" case. All those "accomplishments" so heavy they're weighing the team down. She's always had stacked teams going back to UCONN and just takes all the shots. Indeed a special talent but attitude and selfishness capped (as in Cappie Pondexter Finals MVP of DT's 1st title 😅) her run. Premature goat talk & the logo was WAY too much too early, is not aging well and it's gone to her head. She's not a greater player than Maya Moore, Cynthia Cooper, Tamika Catchings or Candace Parker. Turasi's status is more about marketing. The league wanted to ride her early momentum coming in the league off the dominance of those UCONN teams, then the league allowed PHX to stack teams around her early in her career..

Nevermind the 1ppg, how about the fact that both Points were awful and the 2 guard was cold all tournament. Look up the ratings post Paris. The only games drawing a number are CC. Period. Full Stop. Magically, now she gets the AP PotW. Now she gets the RoY push. The W made a nearly fatal mistake: Unrivaled gets CC, the W is the second best women's league overnight as far as exposure is concerned. The fact that that rights deal isn't signed yet proves it. That $3b is for CC. Not the W, CC. Now, they're treating her right. They're giving her the shine. CC is the market, and she has all the leverage. The W gets that now. I didn't like how she denigrated CC. She, if anyone, should have seen the raw talent there. So we can really agree that Taurasi or however you spell it is a snake. Ignored her comments on Clark because CC fans don’t really care about basketball like that most times and instead get very parasocial, but they might’ve been on to something lol

You signed up to be a part of a team and an organization. Many people rely on you and your availability. As a woman, you have every right to start a family, but the team shouldn't have to wait on you because of your personal decisions.

"When the league was still growing in the 2010s"??? The WNBA was well established by then. And I would never say Skylar was "one of the first WNBA stars to go viral".... not even close. Though, unfortunately, treating pregnant women poorly in the workplace is very common in America. Pregnancy is often viewed as a disease that is a detriment to productivity. I don't blame Skylar for being upset about that situation.

DT's an overrated clown, who's only "great" because she's always been on teams with some of the greatest players ever. She's the Derek Fisher of the WNBA.
