The subconscious inspiration point is sooo true. Back in highschool I had a good friend who's effortless style I was super inspired by and I would show up to class matching her all the time. Now that I'm older I work at a music/clothing store and a coworker of mine (our clothing buyer) has super comfy/boho style which mine has definitely morphed to be more like. (I've shown up in nearly the same outfit as her like 5 times) I still haven't found my definite style but I really do think there is a fine line between imitation and inspiration and I really wish I could figure it out. I don't want these people to think I'm just copying their look. Input anyone?

m concheeta Really ask yourself "what would make me truly confident and happy if I wore it?" Sometimes it isn't about copying others but rather what really makes you feel your best! I used to try sooo many different trends and after years of trying things out, that's when I realized I've found my own genuine style. It starts off by being inspired and then turns into something that is uniquely you ☺️ hope that makes sense!
