Does this count as ASMR?? Idk either way this was sooo relaxing and fun to watch and it made sleepy sooo I rate it 100/10
@Laladust4 жыл бұрын
ASMR(autonomous sensory meridian response) is literally the static-like/tingling sensation an individual gets from a certain stimulus. It's not a type of video. All individuals have different ASMR triggers, like wax stamping, which is a visual stimulus.
@Crosshill4 жыл бұрын
that plucking sound of the needle going through canvas is exceptionally satisfying to me, dont get no tingling sensation though
@twobluestripes4 жыл бұрын
Some people may get ASMR from the sound of the stitching or even from piano music, or from the visuals of the embroidered image. To me it feels like chills, but inside your head instead of on your skin. (Nothing in this video triggers ASMR for me, but I’m much more likely to get it in real life experiences than from video.) I would say this fits nicely into the ASMR genre on youtube, as well as relaxing and background type videos to sleep or study by. I’d even be interested to see a few without the music, though I think the piano is a way nicer choice than what a lot of makers use for background music!

Some people do instructions well, some people have to watch someone to do the skill. Whatever you feel comfortable doing is your way. I struggled for years with theses cause I found the instructions to be near impossible and made me feel defeated and stupid. Don't worry you are not stupid, it's just that you learn differently to others and everyones way of learning is different. I find it easier now watching talented people such as this skilled person. Visual learning is said to be the most universal, as it's a social activity and one our ancestors gave us but some people can even struggle with this, just find the way that best suits you. Lovely tutorials, you're not patronizingly fast and you give helpful hints thank you. x

@@norayousif4275 take a piece of paper with the design on it and a pencil . Your gonna shade in the back of the paper with led. (Not the entire paper, but only where the design is) Kinda like when we would color in drawings with the side of the pencil. Put down a nice layer of led. Then when you’re ready put it right side up on the linen that you’ll embroider and trace out the design with a pen. Just like she did in the video. Your image should transfer!

I think jeans fabric i sturdy and a good fit for embrodery. If you are worried about the inside you can buy a special "embrodery cover fabric" with glue on one side that you iron on the wrong side om the embrodery to protect it.

Brand new to embroidery so my question might be silly. But do you use 6 strands for everything? And if not, how do you know when you need less. Sorry, trying to really get a grasp of what I'm doing before I dive in with one of your patterns. They're beautiful by the way. Can't wait to make one!
@dianavingert92274 жыл бұрын
thanks for the question! I always use 6, but there are decorative elements like “loops” or stitches like “woven Wheel” where volume is needed, and I use 6x2. that is, a thread folded in half.
@siennapetree74174 жыл бұрын
Just started maybe 6 months ago, I have tried different methods like thread painting , where you use one strand for everything and the detail is staggering, but it is a beast to complete one tiny element. I usually do larger pieces like this with 6 strands and then if I want the flowers to pop more than the foreground stems and stuff I will use 3 strands for those or if I'm layering colors, just so that it won't create a ton of bulk in one spot. Love this video and thank you Diana for helping us newbies get inspiration and education!
@djunaskye62204 жыл бұрын
It mostly depends on your preference, but generally thinner is good for details and intricate stitches, while thicker is good for outlines and large fills.

Magnifique tableau réalisé dans des tons très doux sur une toile irrégulière qui se prête très bien au style de la broderie . J'admire la sûreté du geste , le résultat est splendide . Bravo !

Sincerely, at first I watch this video because of Exo's song Moonlight as your background. Then i get attached to this video. ❤️ Looking for an idea for my wedding and really love your embroidery.🥰 Thank you for this video.
