Yes they do come together. Annabelle was what three days before turning 18. I can't imagine them prosecuting Simone since Annabelle was an adult who had made a decision to pursue Simone. They fell in love and connected with each other. Simone was trying not to pursue her own desires but finally Annabelle convinced her that it was alright to feel the way she does with another woman. Beautiful story! I just wished the Reveren Mother had more compassion for Simone. Of course, it was alright for the Aunt to touch Simone and to play passionately with her hair. That's another story that was only viewed once.

C'mon Diane.... Annabelle needed healing, Simone needed healing, they had a palpable chemistry. Wish they had waited the minute necessary for Annabelle, who was well beyond her years, to be 18 but they didn't....Simone needed to get away from perverse/intrusive Mother Immaculata anyway. Teacher/student stuff is always tricky but in this case, I say "Fine, we'll just go live on the beach"
