Goose bumps! Tears! Grinning from ear to ear! I feel like I've had a relationship with Diane Schuur for 20+ years. The first time I heard her sing I was completely hooked. I'm so glad this has been preserved for generations to come. Just incredible!

Two musicians who have made a forever impact on the world... While being blind, neither allowed their conditions to stop them from making the world a better place to live. (Thanks for that living example!) Take-6 and Herbie Hancock simply take this over the top! I really believe God smiled and cried like we all did because the love was palatable. BRAVO!!!!

This is one of my favorite Kennedy Center Awards performances. I had always been a fan of Diane Schuur but she outdid herself that night. Just brilliant. And you can tell that Stevie thought so too!

I have listened to you for so long that I hardly hear any other singer sing to me the way that you have sung to me and ALL of us. Thank you Diane Schur from the bottom of my heart, on an ordinary day - I just want to say, "I love you"

Without question, one of the best/unique transformations of a hit song ever! Whoever arranged this for her was on top of their game at that time. The beauty is it keeps the original flavor of the song, but kicks it up a notch! Bravo!

Absolutely incredible...even as she sings at the beginning without an orchestra...and brail reading... And then then it all comes in.. So smooth...and that voice...up and down... sideways you name it ..and then just rolls it away... outstanding

The comments that I read here are people who sincerely appreciate beautiful music. The orchestra, back up singers and Diane's tantalizing voice the amazing piano player and her high pitch that reached the moon with some playful scat at the end. this performance absolutely made me cry. Thank YT for this splendid post.

I hope everyone saw Herbie Hancock in the background on the piano supplementing this phenomenal performance by the truly gifted Diane Schuur.

I saw her in a jazz club on new years eve many years ago, late 80s, she blew the doors off the place and tore the place up with her ballads and her band. Saw Stevie at Gladys knight concert, I was in second row center, packed rowdy house, lights went down, only 2 seats in front of me, down the aisle with flashlight comes an usher with Stevie and a gorgeous girl. He sat in front of me!!! Gladys of course was amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

So, I thank you so very much from the bottom my heart for posting it. Stevie Wonder has been a tremendous part of my musical tapestry for many years and for more to come!!!!
