Thank you so much, Diane, for your tutorials! I have watched more tutorial videos than I could ever count. However, even though many were helpful and the artist was very good none of them ever resonated with me like yours. Also, I rarely felt inspired to give watercolors a try after watching other tutorials. While I have casually used them before not ongoing. I typically work with acrylics and mixed media, resin, etc. I also teach art to kids at homes and after-school programs. Even so, I never moved from the very basics of watercolor. Until you! I can't draw at all so am very glad you provide printouts. I'm excited to tell you I tried drawing and this bird. While it most likely looks like was made by a 6-year old I'm just so happy I tried it! I also managed to draw some butterflies and painted them after watching your multi butterfly tutorial! So much fun Diane! The next video I'm watching with extreme interest is your "Loosen Up" tutorial. That loose style is what I've always liked in watercolors and since I can't draw happens to be very helpful as well!😄 I just now saw that you have a FB group and though I rarely use FB I'm going to join. Sorry about the length of this post but I so want you to know just much I appreciate all the time and creative energy you put into teaching us to watercolor. Your teaching style and your presentation fit my learning style perfectly. I am so jazzed to learn more! Sending you much gratitude!

I paint on botanicals on hymnal pages. I was asked to on my friends mothers favorite. I think this will be perfect for “His Eye is on the Sparrow”. I will change the coloring to be more sparrow like.
