I will never understand deliberate rudeness!!! With the world the way it is now, common sense should tell us all, as humans, that the world is in need of kindness and peacefulness...NOT more rudeness! But meanness and cruelty still rages on in places! However, I have to believe there are more kind and good people than the cruel rude ones. You are one of those kind and good people, Diane, don't let the rudeness get you down! So many people enjoy your videos and your wonderful painting talent, and your ideas, and hearing you talk. You are a comfort to so many of us. 🥰

I loved the way you told the hater off, it was so condescending (perfect response). Everyone I follow on KZbin has haters at the moment, it seems currently that it is the way of things that idiots think others care about what they have to say, however puerile those opinions are. I paint to enjoy myself, not to seek the approval of others, I’m sure you are the same. BTW I love the way you paint!

I've always said that the 'Delete' button was the best thing since sliced the microwave....and crockpot! LOL (seriously) I love this painting and I want both of those books for ideas. They don't look all cluttered and seem well-spaced for someone like me who struggles to learn from print/pictures.... always have. I am with the commenter who doesn't like the scratching, one could torture me with it very easily. Never been able to hold sandpaper let alone use it, does something to my teeth. I just turn the sound way down or off for the brief period of what you are doing. I will def give this a try. But I will try on hot press. I have the Arrtyx brush tip markers and I understand using it on textured paper will ruin the nibs Thanks much for sharing, Diane. Have a wonderful weekend!

I can’t believe people feel they have the right to be so rude. You don’t have to like or agree with everything everyone else does but there is no need to bleat out your unwanted opinion. If you ask for opinions then of course you have to graciously accept what people have to say. Still there’s no need to be cruel. You do you 😊

I can’t believe someone would say that to you about your paintings. Some people just can’t be nice. Your way of painting has helped me not be so critical of myself and be so afraid to paint. I have tried to just paint and let my brush have fun. I appreciate you and how fun you are straight forward. I have learned a lot from you. Still not fully confident in myself to just paint. I am pretty hard on myself when it comes to painting and drawing. Thank you for being you and sharing all that you know about water colors. I’m going to try this painting today. I love all the fun colors you used. Reminds a bit of the Boho style colors. 🤗
