Thank you. I am going to read books written by Victor Frankl now. Maybe it will help me understand why as soon as my efforts to do whatever often gets destroyed or taken away by whomever as far as they think they can get away with before I can finish what I was doing.

I don’t particularly like the perspective of existential therapy, it’s like the angst provokes it to be absolute and self deterministic. Like they’re afraid nuance and acceptance of the many ways we are out of control will pave the way to absolute collapse. I understand its utility, especially when you need a foundation for the most basic questions that keeps our feet on the ground. I very much enjoyed your lecture though, thank you.

Well, I strive for authenticity and accuracy, not machine-like perfection. When I refrain from natural speech, the lecture is far less interesting or enjoyable. I could do it, but it would bore most folks to tears! Besides, I would sound like a politician, and no one wants that!
@bdawg72133 жыл бұрын
You clearly achieved authenticity and accuracy as a master in your profession. And I, the student, learned. Accept my gratitude. Someone once told me, "Don't seek praise, seek criticism, make it better". So I present to you the results of my hyper-focused, obsessive compulsive, late night data collection. Kind regards. -bryan

Therapist need to learn to respect the will of the existentially depressed to want to exit this evil, absurd world.
