Ive made a few dishes of hers at home and they never disappointed us. It is kinda hard to find all ingredients but luckily more and more Asian markets are opening in our area bringing the ingredients right to us. The owners if the store are Japanese but always help me find things and even look forward to whatever I'm going to try this time. One of my favorites to play with is fermented black beans. They are scary to look at but black bean garlic sauce made from scratch is an eye opener! I keep seeing soy milk skins or tofu skin and I know they sell it so that might be my next try. I wish you luck in your career as a chef. I quit a long time ago to work in computers then i switched to greenhoyse/nursery but now I just help with my grandkiddos and garden and brush up on my cooking skills.

In Indonesia we have similar dessert that called Cendol, it will goes well when you added coconut milk, so the ingredients is Shrimp Rice, brown sugar water and Coconut Milk. Better you add some ripe jackfruit when you boiling your sugar water.. 😊
