I imagine all families in this part of China have home made wine on rotation so she could've shown the process of making it today and drank some wine she made 4 years ago? At least when they were having dinner she mentioned that the wine she was serving is 4 years old so it is definitely their last batch of wine! It really inspires me to brew my own wine on a continuous batch rotation like this!

I think that it is such a different reality to what we are used to in the West! Everyone are so much more in touch with nature and the Earth and make things from scratch whereas we just go to a store to get everything we need. I feel like we are all inherently longing for that kind of lifestyle but at least in North America, it is nearly impossible to do that while still being part of society as we know it!
