People in Yunnan always say "Let's go to my house to chat and have a cup of tea."
Yunnan people's love for tea is a profound culture that goes deep into the people and actually affects our view of the world. Especially in the village, when we meet friends or relatives on the road, we'll invite them to our home for tea and chat.
After saying goodbye to the spring rain, summer comes, and many lovely green sprouts appear in the tea fields, which is the harvest season for tea. So, my uncles and aunties and I went to the tea fields to pick the tableland tea leaves. Today we not only had tea, but I also prepared a few dishes with tea leaves, which are refreshing, delicious and not greasy. Let's go to my house for tea, dinner, and chat!

@@amishu2806 云南在内陆，没有海，所以基本没有海鲜料理传统，但是有湖泊河流所以有河鲜，鱼虾料理。当然最多的是原住民料理，因为云南有幾十個不同的民族，不同的宗教信仰，所以美食很多

My mom talked about how her grandparents in the US had about 9-10 children and the whole family lived on a plot of land, helping out with farming. They made peanuts but there wasn't a day that any of them went without. Now people can live in cities making tens of thousands and barely survive with just one person. Sometimes, I think that going back to living like this would be better for some. My brother and I sometimes visit the family members who still live on the land and think, maybe we should move back to this place where we were babysat.

It was at this time every year we used to go and pluck tea leaves with my mom and friends❤️ seeing this video makes me wanna go back so bad to my hometown (Northeast India Manipur) even though I just came back from my hometown 5 months back 😭😭 Every household in my village have a tea leaves garden but the difference is that we never eat the fresh tea leaves we just make it dry and makes tea and also used for medicine purpose like if u get burned from fire or oil just chew the fresh tea leaves and put it the place where u got hurt and it will be just fine!!
