so cool. i made you motorcycle and 4 wheeler for my niece baby shower. they were hits..lol .tho they had so much stuff on them you could hardly see the vehicles. now about to do this truck and tricycle for twin girls. love your videos and love youtube...so addicted to tutorials...even learned to make my own detergents fabric softener and febreeze...and so much stuff! love your videos most tho.

Is there anything that can replace the paper towel rolls?! I have three days to make this and not enough time to use up paper towels Edit! I managed to pull the roll out without ripping up the towels

Strider Child you can use any other roll from gift wrap, aluminum foil or other. You may have to trim down to size. Also you can make axels with foamboard or cardboard. Please see my 4x4 Jeep video to see foamboard axels. You can also use rolled diapers and wrap with scrapbook paper to make the axels. I hope that helps. Thank you.

Thank you so much junior062110! Actually the body and wheels are not connected, it just sat on top. Like that is OK most of the time. if you want I think you could run ribbon around the axles and tie it to the body. the body was heavy enough and it did not roll though. Thanks : )

How did you get the wheels to stay on? Did you just sit the top part of the truck on the wheels or what??

Hi misty, when I make this truck, I use 12X12 card stock to cover the paper towel roll, then I cut out a hole in each roll and connect them with an aluminum foil roll, it makes a shape that looks like a capital T that is crossed at the top and bottom. This will make it easier to pickup and handle.

Thank you KinderKrafts. The main body of the truck had 7 in the front and back (14), then 6 rolled in the middle (20) then 8 rolled on each side (36) then 3 more flat on top, so I guess it was a total of 39 in the body. these are size two and may very by brand and size. Total for the whole truck was 83 diapers. I think I was wrong in the beginning and said 70, so sorry : )
