The old one not only holds more but allows you to rotate the ring creating barriers to keep the smell in. The newer one doesn't allow you to rotate and lets the awful smell come out far quicker. This makes you need to change it out even more often. A huge step back from this manufacturer. Looks nicer but performs far worse.

I would just use regular kitchen garbage bags. They are cheaper, hold more, and work the same as the refills. You just don't have to keep tying.

I never waste that much bag with my complete. You just pull a little excess bag down, squeeze above the diapers, pull the diapers down and cut slightly above the diapers. You also don't need to move the complete at all to empty it. It doesn't hold as many diapers inside but the diapers compress the same, the bags are the same. You just have to empty it more frequently.

looks like the biggest issues would be solved by emptying more often. (lid trouble, removing bag)

also if the bag can be changed twice as often, I wonder if the smell might not be as bad. when she squeezes the air out of the bag, that air has got to go somewhere. not to mention a bag changed twice as often has half the time to fester.

Wow! I'm a father of five and I must say that the older model is for lazy parents. That's an insane amount of diapers to accumulate before changing bags. That's why you must hold your breath weirdo😂. The newer model has the odor packs which last 60 days and doesn't allow you to over stuff. I never have wasted more than 3 inches of bag when changing. One word for you parents in agreement with the older model... Trifling!!!

Its kinda gross how much you let them fill. I empty mine out long before the lid starts giving me trouble and the bags have to be changed more frequently but hold the same ratio of diapers to bag as the elite. It looks like you have 3 weeks worth of diapers in there. How hard is it to throw it out every week. This video is the equivalent of complaining that deodorant doesn’t work so great when you haven’t showered in 2 weeks. Also you used two hands to cut with the elite if you do the same with the complete it works just the same

If a deodorant keeps me from smelling after not showering for two weeks and another one doesn't, the one that does keep me from smelling is the winner. Period. Same here. The bottom line is that the Elite holds more diapers. If you change them once a week, good on you. Not everyone does that and for those of us who don't, this video is very informative.
