Hi, OneLastSmile here. I wanted to thank you again for making such an amazing video, I really appreciate that the story I wrote so many years ago has persisted in people's memories for this long. The time period I wrote this LLB in was a very different era. This was my first big horror project, I invested a lot of time into making it and enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for reading! I loved every second of it. I may return to the LLB scene eventually!

Some random author insights: Back when I wrote this I had some serious oversights in regards to Truth/Truth Redux. Especially with Redux there are certain parts I forgot weren't told about in The Secret (mostly because of the fairly large gap of time between the original run of Truth and the run of Truth Redux.) There were some plot points I regret including in Redux entirely, as well. This is more or less a bit of lost lore at this point, but at the time of writing I was buddies with another LLB author who was writing a multiverse themed LLB. I was so excited by this concept that I decided to 'connect' mine into it for no real reason. The body that Manny inhabits for the last few chapters of Redux is also from another LLB, I believe it was one with Greg as a school shooter? The multiverse thing is the big plot point I've come to regret including, imo it killed the horror vibe and sort of sent everything off into left field in a negative way. If I ever rewrite Truth again, this is the part I regret and want to fix most. I consider "it was all a dream/experiment/multiverse" to be a vibekiller when it comes to horror stories, but at the time of writing this I was young and unseasoned in writing horror so I made the common mistakes any young author will make. I'm really glad that even in 2024, years after my original publishing of The Secret and The Truth/Truth Redux, people are still enjoying a horror story I wrote. I think this is a story that still holds up as being scary, but it's definitely not without flaws and plotholes just like anything else.

well okay, manny stops talking one day and this was franks boiling point since he thought manny would be his one kid to grow up how he wanted so he took it out on him and got his other sons in on it as well Rodrick was complacent but Greg felt empathetic but still continued out of fear, Susan sees this every day and one day eventually snaps and didn’t want to see it anymore so she puts manny down thinking this to be better then the life he got but manny combined with the abuse he got plus the one person he thought he could trust betray his souls became a vengeful spirit strong enough to create a fake Pocket dimension where he killed the heffelys each day also everything being covered in front juice is because he hated it and they torture him with it, on Friday his body as well as the pocket dimension start falling apart so to save himself he took a nearby body from a different Greg but that gave him admesia, despite the rule of a day unable to pass unless someone dies manny somehow circumvents this at the cost of the day’s memory’s and his body rotting, eventually though from all of this manny gets the attention of other dimensional people and they start resarching him and his behaviour and by Saturday when they see him falling apart they think it’s the perfect time to capture him, by the last loop on Saturday manny finally escapes I think by accidently using his powers and finds a dimension that was exactly like his except it was Sunday, the trama from seeing this again made him possess this dimension manny and kill Susan though he semi regrets this also he frames frank as revenge for all the abuse but loses all his memories due to the side effect of possessing someone, by the end Manny returns to normal and manny

I have a theory at 28:17 When manny was looking through the doors it could be him looking through many different alternate universes because some of them are referring to other fan fictions. Like “ballistic missile” is doawk the ballistic missile. “Gregory as an adult” is 25 years later and “a burning grave could maybe be 25 years later too. “A lot of yoghurt” could be the dark web fan fiction but I don’t know. “The apocalypse could be any other apocalypse LLB but I could think it can be the fregpocolypse and when manny opened the door of the night where he was killed is this one. So I think these “doors” could be portals to certain LLBs and when manny got out the door it is him leaving his own LLB.

I have a theory, has anyone played the game "Limbo" by playdead, basically the world is black and white, and our character's whole body is black like ink, and His white eyes are the only silhouette, there's a lot of dangers and greg takes a similar appearance to the character, and when he sees his body with his family, that got me thinking, he's obviously dead, but what if he's in Limbo with others who were in the same situation as him, what if his family is? All that are in in Limbo probably have a lot to overcome, and accomplish, and to fix their mistakes, they won't be able to find peace until they do so...

Theory: The Heffley family can't exist in the first dimension because if he kills a different person on each different day, Monday can't exist because he already killed somebody on Monday. This also explains why the days stayed the same, to try to delay the inevitable of their universe being destroyed. when it eventually becomes Monday, that is in another universe. And in that universe, he never created pocket dimensions he just let Frank take the blame. If he had created pocket dimensions in that new universe the whole cycle would have started over again.
