This is by far the most value for money that I have seen. The variety of high end brands is insane and thats without so many products being full size and the amount of multi-product days!! The only thing that lets it down for me is that its a bit overkill on skincare. If there was more make up I dont think I could have resisted buying it. ❤

Re hair oils - always use at night and use small amount and then what I do I plait my hair and leave in all night and in the morning when you brush it out it’s beautifully silky soft and non greasy :) I have lost most of my hair due to thyroid and hormones etc and have been using a lot more leave in moisturisers and oils etc and my hair is a lot more hair like texture and definitely hasn’t been breaking or falling out anywhere near as much!

Thank you for sharing your experience I will try doing it at night. I’ve started using rosemary oil in the last few months and my hair has been feeling better but it’s just so thin and has been for 14yrs now unfortunately- it’s hormonal which is so frustrating xx

I have PCOS too and the hair struggle is awful. I have dark brown hair and have always had hairy arms and really hairy legs 😒 the arms and legs slightly less now I've gone through the menopause, but facial hair is still one of my issues. I feel your pain x

I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling too - Yes my leg hairs are not growing as much anymore since peri menopause thankfully but I’m still hairy elsewhere - spearmint oil mixed in with moisturiser applied to the chin is supposed to help xx

I have fine hair, and I had issues with hair oil, until I started applying it to lightly damp hair, before letting it dry naturally, and It doesn't seem to weigh it down any more,

This is definitely my favourite this year, it has everything, such a great mix of high end brands and different items from the usual brands. Selfridges is the only one that comes close but has way too many hair products. I couldn’t believe it when you were still only at door 15 - there had been so many large sizes already! Only down note is CT palette is the exact same from Cult Beauty last year, but will make a nice gift! Thanks for the unboxing.

Last year my order was canceled as it couldn’t ship to where I am (Australia)- I think there was something pressurised or flammable that they can’t send by air. Just ordered this one today - hopefully it will be ok as the products all look fine to ship I think. Even with a crappy exchange rate against the pound this box is still great value! Being able to use indulge rewards points too is a bonus.

We are ringing them tmro, other than that we loved it x Quick update, we’ve contacted them and we are getting the impression they think we are telling fibs. Still waiting on an email….. Another update….no email so rang again, have now been asked for a photo of all products received. What that gains I’ve no idea. Shocking customer service, has put me off buying from them again.

Great review. I am considering getting it. I was very impressed with the advent calendar last year. It’s great that they include so many full size products and all useful non “filler” items. It’s pricey when converted to AUD though 😳. I’m not sure if I’ll get the Cult Beauty advent calendar this year unless it goes on sale again. It looks good but there are only a few things that really excites me, more travel size and not sure what the price is yet. 🥰

I'd rather there was only one cleanser and I have that CT palette from a calendar last year, but other than that I'd actually use everything. Much more tempting than any other calendar I've seen this year - I could regift the 2nd cleanser and the CT. A definite contender.

Far better than the Cult Beauty one this year, though I do have to say the packaging is lacking for the price. Harrods is the same price but they always do sturdy cardboard and pull-out drawers with gorgeous designs. This tetris-type layout where you have to shove boxes back isn't very luxurious considering the enormous price tag.
