Sir but endogenic processes are divided into diastrophism and volcanism ..if epeirogeny occurs due to volcanism ..then volcanism should also be included under diastrophism ..why it is being separated from diastrophism
@harshainfoandtutorials66603 жыл бұрын
Simple.. Volcanism involves vertical movement and material is being mobilized in liquid state. And it is not completely separated from diastrophism it's just a category of movement regarding the material being dislocated in diastrophic movements caused by diastrophic forces. Hope you understood 😊. Thank you for asking your doubt which is very intellectual.

That was indeed good. Can you tell me the difference between epeirogenic and volcanism?
@harshainfoandtutorials66603 жыл бұрын
Epiorogeny and orogeny are the diastrophic movements in which movement of solid crust material takes place whereas volcanism is the movement of molten rock material from deeper layers to surface 😊

Extremely good explanation but sir the doubt is that are the epeirogenic processes and the volcanism somewhat similar or interrelated? Waiting for your reply 😀😀
@harshainfoandtutorials66602 жыл бұрын
Somewhat similar and interrelated in some cases, because in epiorogeny uplifting of land takes place but it's not a constant thing. It may submerge again.. so I considered volcanism for make you understand the concept better . Actually epiorogeny results in formation of elevated plain. Sighting of that plain depends on submerging and floating of an area by the influence of a water body and the rock body can be igneous, sedimentary or a metamorphic in nature. Among these I've chosen igneous terrain. Hope you understood 😊
