Nice review. I’m a bit confused why they provide a GPS mount though. If I understand correctly, the AIO board doesn’t have an unused UART left for connecting a GPS?

Thanks man :) And true! Puzzled me as well.. My guess is the mount is part of the frame-kit so you always get it.. And the frame accepts 20x20 stacks soooo.... But yeah.. I don't see it happening with This AIO FC :)

Hi, I am having a very strange signal behaviour on mine. I don't even get 100% signal when I am close to the quad and when I move a few metres away y goes quickly to 70 or 60%. I noticed that the sbus yellow cable from the caddx unit is connected to the rc pad on the flight controller along with the ch1 cable from the crossfire nano receiver (both soldered on the same pad RC). I checked out several wiring exemples and mostly people use a dedicated UART for the nano receiver and another one for the DJI unit but I couldn't find any example of this flight controller with the caddx unit and crossfire. I was wondering if you could tell me how the wiring of the caddx unit and the crossfire nano receiver is on your quad? Thanks for your help in advance.

that IS weird.. there is no problem with the caddx unit's sbus wire being connected.. BUT you might want to double check if the receiver uart (ports tab in Betaflight) is set correctly? Besides that: have you tried calibrating your radio for this receiver?

@@luismanchego6856 ohwwwww you are using crossfire.. sorry. I missed that.. first: it would not hurt to get rid of that Sbus wire from the caddx air-unit.. Not sure what AIO FC you have by the way as there have been 2 versions in this quad.. is yours turned 45-degrees? And nope. in that case of crossfire there is no calibrating to be done

@@DutchRC the board is a mamba f411 25A AIO 26mm ESC:4S /25 and yes it's turned 45° forward. I thought your quad had a crossfire nano receiver installed and my original question was if both your crossfire receiver and the vista unit were connected to the rc pad on the flight controller and if this layout could be interfering with the crossfire signal because the sbus cable is connected when you use the DJI controller. But if you're not using crossfire, I am sorry it was my mistake. Take care👍

Ha! That is a trick question huh? :P the L3 is more engaging and I do like it's speed.. On the flip side: the F4 is relaxing to fly.. But really hard to say as the F4 I have is analogue.. I somehow do fly that one more though (costs less, so a bad crash doesn't matter as much)

VERY much depends on how (fast) you fly it sir :$ This is a FAST quad though so I generally didn't fly it as an endurance quad (10 minutes is easy to do though)

Het zou in de specs moeten staan natuurlijk, maar dit soort wat kleinere quads hebben Meestal een XT30 :) XT60's zie je vaker bij bv 5" quads.. Cheers! :)

Hi there :) Soooo this always seems like an easy question, but my PID's worked for MY quad.. And you probably run a different BF version :) Anyway! My quad ran on BF 4.2.5 with these PID's & settings: set gyro_lowpass_hz = 80 set gyro_lowpass2_hz = 225 set dyn_lpf_gyro_min_hz = 180 set dyn_lpf_gyro_max_hz = 450 set dterm_lowpass_hz = 80 set feedforward_transition = 40 set iterm_relax_type = GYRO set iterm_relax_cutoff = 20 set p_pitch = 41 set d_pitch = 31 set p_roll = 38 set d_roll = 28 set p_yaw = 41 set d_min_roll = 19 set d_min_pitch = 20 Hope that helps you out! :D

@@jagercowmaster first thing would be to make sure you are using the correct Region.. (LBT or FCC).. by default that receiver has FCC firmware.. Beyond that the binding is exactly the same as with a Frsky R-XSR receiver...
