I really like the way this Diatone Roma F4 LR looks. But I have to say my favorite one of all that were released is the Flywoo Explorer LR.

The roma series is looking pretty good. Maybe the gps took a long time to get a fix because it was a cold start? Or did the problem repeat every flight?

There is a GPS issue. Diatone just released a couple of suggestions on how to address this issue. I am going to give them a try and post a video about it soon.

It's cool that there are now so many options in this category, but the "original" FlyWoo (or the actual original DIY build by Dave_C) still seems like the best choice overall even if it's slightly more expensive.

In the end of the video there are some video with HD and other video with low quality. what's the different? are the HD is the DJI unit and the low quality is the caddx?

I should have marked it properly as it's confusing. Lower quality - Caddx Nebula Micro DVR. Higher quality - Naked GoPro 7 Black footage.

i bought the analogue version my video antenna sits on the side of the quad and not over the gps but i still cannot pick up any satellite's. i have configured the gps in failsafe tab in betaflight and waited 15 minutes with a fan blowing over it outside and still couldn't get any satellite's at all . very frustrating considering the gps rth feature was the reason i bought this quad . never had a long range quad with a 400 mw vtx , seems strange and i thought that's why it had a gps so when u lose video u can flick the switch and it will bring it back into range . am i missing something or is this gps unit just a dud

Awesome video! I also have roma f4 (analog) and I am really struguling with jello. I tried tuning it, but no luck. I also checked for vibrations in motirs and they are all good. Any chance you could help me by exporzing your settings? Thank you in adwance!

Nice video ! I’m wondering about these mamba motors. How do you like them ? I see at times in the video some wobble. Is that the wind or is it something to do with the motors not being smooth ? Hope to hear from you. Thank u

Thanks. The motors seem to be working well. There are some issues with the tune which Diatone need to fix and on top of that the Nebula V2 camera is more prone to Jello in comparison to the DJI cameras as far as I know (I need to confirm it).

It's got so much oscillations and rebound on quick rolls and flips. Are the videos recorded after you changed the pids or with the manufacturer's ones?

I used the stock adjusted settings. As I mentioned in the video, they are not great and I will post another video soon with updated settings that will hopefully work better.

Hey Gal. Thank you for the review. Looks like a good quad. I have one question: If i buy the version without camera and dji unit will it work with analog receiver if i solder that in out of the box? I'm just curious because the analog version is sold out everywhere...

My pleasure! Sure you can - the flight controller has an OSD chip so all you need to do is to buy an analog camera, VTX and an antenna and you'll be good to go.

Tuned already,The GPS if you want to enable,need give service a email，Will give you some caution on it，becasue the betaflight gps not same as DJI，need know some risk on it，that's why not open it from the factory，aviod some dangerous for people,JB not describe clear the main reason on it.

@@MKST-CA he said but I thought everyone knew these gps are seriously unreliable. Just for an emergency. Like mine doesn't land and will sometimes be 50ft away over a tree lol.. but I do like that it is lighter. Any plans on a 5" version? Like the shocker but pre-built. Light, t-mount biblades (hq 5x3x2) AIO or 20x20 20a to 35a. Pro32 nano or a 800mw vtx. Be a niche market. Other company has a plan for 1 but nothing out yet.
