From all anime i'd ever watch, Diavolo's death is the most cruel and painful torture, i mean, there is nothing more cruel than got tortured every single time until you die, and got respawn, and do all of it over and over and over.

Perfect to his punishment and name... Diavolo means Devil, and his punishment is Hell.

@@ralphcaluag2403 It's crueler than even Hell, even if the metaphor is right. At least in Hell, according to God's mercy, people suffering the torment will simply cease to exist after a while, whereas Diavolo is stuck forever in this loop.

Just realized on the operation scene, the man is actually awake and Alive. Giorno said it's Infinite death, the man didn't die on the river. He's in coma or some sort. Though many countless action before dissecting said body he wouldnt be there.
