Diawl Bach With a Kick! | Bruiser Bach | Fly Tying Tutorial

In this fly tying tutorial Cheech ties The Bruiser Bach!
The Diawl Bach is a very popular stillwater fly in Europe and you'd be hard pressed to find a box over there without a bunch of them. This fly uses a dubbed body of Bruiser Blend to give the fly a little bit different color and action profile in the water. I really like fishing these when there are a lot of callibaetis or snails around. Here's the technique for them. Get em' low and pull em' slow!

When Davie ties it he reverse ties in the beard at the same time he ties in thr tail ans then at the very end he folds it back and makes the head. It's a great technique

The Diawl Bach is Welsh for Little Devil. It was developed to fish the Welsh and British stillwaters. It was developed by Jimmy Evans in 1950 and is traditionally fished in a three fly rig with the Diawl Bach as the bottom fly. Thanks for the great video on your take on this fly.
