Sir plz explain why both pt and aptt are increased..since dic only activates extrinsic pathway so only aptt should be increased..

I’m not sure, but since dic leads to excessive formation of clots all coagulation factors are consumed, whether it be the ones in the intrinsic or the extrinsic pathways
