I got it today. It came with DHL and i made the order directly from their website. It is a product made in Slovenia. In EU it costs 149euros including shipping. Its a tiny thing but its pretty accurate. For 150 euros i said what the heck i might have a go at it. Update: 3 months, still working... For the price you can't beat that. Is really good and quite accurate for metering however bear in light.

I've learned a lot about light meters now, thank you! Minor thought about the neck-strap design: I actually disagree with you, and think it's perfect as-is. When I'm up to my elbows in something and need a little tool like this one, just for a sec, it's very helpful to be able to give it a tug with one hand and use it immediately. That would be more awkward if it rested "right side up" in a neck pendant holster of some kind. It would also either be more bulky than the existing design, or it would leave the plug exposed or less-protected, I imagine. On the other hand, you're certainly right that the current design depends 100% on getting the tiny detente ring or knob engineered exactly right, inside that little tube: Too tight and it's a hassle to get the Lumu out, too loose and it's a hassle keeping it in. The first time it slipped out accidentally too easily (without obviously snagging on something), I'd throw the neck strap away and keep the dang thing in a shirt pocket instead.

I'd say go to an electronic parts store and by a 3.5mm jack that works with the 3 ring system and just solder a keyring to the end, problem solved for the holder mentioned at 12m.

If you can't afford a Seconik that costs 800$ and you are a student filmmaker, this is a safe bet. Not bad Lumu, not bad... I'm so buying this shit. Actually 2 years ago i was wondering why no one did an iPhone light meter add on. Well here it is i guess.

DiCasaFilm Just FYI, the "www" part is called a sub-domain; and sub-domains can really be anything you want. "www" is just a convention for web pages; although these days it's probably even more common to have no subdomain as the default for your website (which is why the "www" is optional 99% of the time). They probably chose just 2 w's to be cute; like each section is only 2 letters. ww.lu.mu

The company sounds to be legit, however, the beer w the multitudes of cuts that need to be made wasn't enough. With the on going beer speaking blah, blah, blah. Has trashed this product. This is very unprofessional & inappropriate. . I honestly could not finish seeing this. If anything to say: give the company your professionalism that they had hoped you would preformed in behalf of their product. I was sen stele interested in this product, and as "photographer", I will need to look elsewhere for a good review. Sorry, will will not wTch any of your other videos. Unless I want to laugh w friends a the pub!

+robert mccully the purpose is to illustrate the learning process of the product and subsequent application. If he had used it already, instead of discovering the product WITH his audience, he would be listing features. He would giving a tutorial instead of an unboxing and first look video. That is why he is all over the place.

Brother - your review is good, but you're over the top tedious. It feels like I'm talking my 80 year old mother through a computer problem. Do we really need to read EVERY WORD? Do you really need to say the obvious over and OVER again? This should have been a 10 minute video at best.
