Excellent I loved it 😊❤ I too am a daughter-in-law and I remember my mother-in-law telling me, "ok let the room be just like as it is... it's ok to have it messy...you need not make it perfect everyday, take care of your children which is the main priority".... and many other such instances ❤😎💗

Love it. Letting go is liberating!!! I learned this from my mother, who was a perfectionist to a fault. But, as a professional woman with enormous pressure at work, she had to early on find a balance between work and her family responsibilities. This clip also echoes exactly what we are taught in the Management classses: "Perfection is the enemy of good enough." That doesn't mean settling for mediocrity, but cautions one against excessive compulsion to every time achieve perfection, which can cause things to quickly go in a downward spiral. The same is true in personal life. Indian men seem to have attained a far more balanced outlook, but not so much Indian women. We set up arbitrary high standards for ourselves or often buckle down under the unrealistic expectations of the family. As more and more women are entering the workforce, their burdens are considerably greater and different than those endured by their mothers and grandmothers. So, set yourself free!!! If you don't do it for yourself no one will.

What you said is absolutely true. I have enormous pressure to keep everyone happy in my family especially the inlaws side but inspite of all this I am always been scrutinized and one day after an argument I was told that you are 99 percent correct always still we will focus on the one percent wrong. That day I said to myself that the only one who is perfect is God and I am like any other human being . I decided that day it's high time I take a stand for myself and like said in the video that just don't care and first love and respect yourself then only you will get the same from others. I feel as though I was in chains and now free after so many years. So yes changing your attitude and taking a stand is essential for your own upkeep.

@rajyashreetripathi7472 completely agree with you. Thanks to you for posting this comment. Not sure why but it was much needed for me for someone to say - it’s ok, you need not to be perfect in every aspect. Glad that your comment did that today. Cheers!

@nagapavani9582 You are not alone in feeling thebpressure of unreasonable demands from our family , especially, the in-laws. But remember, you and only you are responsible for your happiness and peace of mind. The sooner you accept this fact and take charge of your life, the sooner you can breathe freely. Stop being perfect... just do the most you can. Case closed!

Good massage for this orthodox community and may be especially for India (anywhere or some specific places) Those who don't know the emotions or feelings of their wives. Because suddenly after getting married they start believing to follow their M.O.T.H.E.R to make his wife's life harder for those who don't care about him in their childhood or any important decisions. It is good to teach women from their stress but here some orthodox husbands believe only the needs of his family members.

But see, you did not learn from your life and its people either. It is very easy to blame others. The buck starts with self and ends with Self. Be the change that you want to see in others. Like yourself first. Respect yourself first....so that no one steps all over you....❤

V Nice Concept of this short Story !👌👌 So True…. We can’t have it all’ in life ! And have to learn to not to take Life so seriously, and become a ‘Control Freak’ wanting everything to be ‘Perfect’ And driving everyone around us Crazy. We don’t realise in that Moment’ of getting Annoyed at someone, for Trivial Reason , that we are Driving our Loved ones, and Friends, far from us ! No one wants to be around a Whinger ‘ right ? Life is Short ‘ Kal Ho na Ho … Let’s live it spreading and sharing Love’ and Kindness ‘to each other. 😊
