Let me help you real quick. Ask her why. If she says it’s because of culture, tell her that our culture refers to beliefs and values not clothes. If she says it’s because of religion, tell her that Hinduism and our holy books (bhagavat Gita, Ramayana and Mahabharata)and the vedas don’t say that you can’t wear short clothes. If she says she’s afraid of you being a victim of crime, tell her that crime existed before short clothes and that clothes do not increase your chance of being crimes. If your mom still refuses to let you wear them. Wear whatever you want once you’re over 18 and have your own job!
