Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of love triangles, especially in a setup like this, that already had a lot of tension in the foreshadowing, an interesting relationship dynamic, and most recently some implied family trauma on Enako's end. The tiger girl just feels like an intrusion that skews the balance the tone has struck up to now toward more romcom than the rest of the story.

Really shows, she’s not a feral beast as she appears to be. Just a selfless, kind-hearted, timid, girl, in an intimidating body. With a look like that, it seems her backstory backs up that she’d been ostracized by most. Especially after puberty. Just imagine how isolating it must’ve been, everyone avoiding her, being too scared. She must’ve felt stranger in her own body. Like some monster. But one boy saw the kind girl behind the beast. Maybe we’ll see her try to be more girly and pacifistic, to try and be “normal”.
