Beautiful. I can see it as a wall lamp, or even ceiling light upside down. One big one on the ceiling, imagine that, where the lights can respond to sounds being made or music being played.

I'm currently building a festival totem that incorporates much of what you mentioned! It will look very similar to the pyramid setup in this video, but made of mirrored acrylic. The corners on the inside will have LED strips that I can program to respond to sound and move in different patterns.

Both of the pyramids are made out of standard coloured plexi glass? or are they reflexive? Also, what transparency do they have. Basically you have 3 components: the mirror , 1 st small pyramid and the 2 nd big pyramid, no? Very nice effect, you are very good and hope we can see new things soon.

Can I make a suggestion? On the inside, the 4 inch? Get a clear borough rod and cut 4 two inch sections. Now you can glue the sections of rod to the bottom glass equal to the inner dimensions of the smaller pyramid. The little pyramid will fit right over so it font move around at the slightest touch or bump

What if you the two pyramids have a change in slope? The incident angles change enormously putting a gradient in color within each pyramid's face I would suggest
