If only Sheena had stayed as sweet and likeable as she was in this video! It's a real shame that she turned into a bit of a stuck-up diva once she became famous! Because I genuinely do think the girl could really sing and was very talented! But she turned her back on her Scottish roots and started acting like she was too good for us all over here, which eventually caused many people to lose a lot of respect for her. If she had retained the humour and humility and down-to-earth qualities that she initially started off with and clearly has in this video, it would have endeared her much more to people. x

Within just two years of this interview Sheena slowly changed her accent to sound more American to be accepted in the American mainstream for TV roles. She got a star role in the American mainstream hit TV series Miami Vice once she changed her accent to sound more American.

Nowadays most whites kids in London speak English with a hybrid Jamaican dialect which is very different from the anglo saxon dialect of English which is spoken in this t.v programme by our Sheena. In the early 2000's, young white kids on council estates in London became JAMAICANISED. This is when they starting speaking with English with a hybrid Jamaican dialect. For example, Essex county is the only place in Britain where the cockney dialect/and or accent is still spoken. TO SUMMARISE: In the 1980's all the national British companies went through a process called national - PRIVATISATION - and then almost - SIMULTANEOUSLY - all the poor - NATIONAL - white kids endured a process called - JAMAICANISATION - which did indeed definitely - LEAD - to all poor - NATIONAL - white girls on council estates quickly - UNDERGO - a process called Jamaican extreme - INSEMINATION - and thus all the young - RESULTING - half cast babies initiated a full - NATIONAL - process called extreme - BASTARDISATION. Remember everyone, that the last point regarding bastardisation is entirely optional, and is not my view but instead is the view of white nationalists.

yes, it's disgusting how Easton sold out her heritage. I saw her on some infomercial hawking china tea cups, etc and not only was her accent American, she didn't even want to admit she was from Scotland! (The sidekick tried to mention it, but Easton cut her off and changed the subject). I have no use for someone that discards their heritage. I used to think only Sassenachs did that, but I was wrong.
@puddylump415 жыл бұрын
Trust me, it pisses us off in Scotland just as much! It's well known here that she didn't want to acknowledge her roots anymore once she became famous, and that made people here lose all respect for her! We can't stand people who started off as one of us, then they start acting like they're better than the rest of us! Sheena came on stage in Glasgow once a few years ago, first time in like, 30 years or so that she had ever set foot back here, and she went 'Hi Glasgow' in a really strong American accent - and got booed off stage and told to 'Get awa back tae America!' , I think the crowd even starting hurling Irn Bru bottles at her! lol! It's sad, but the fact is she became really stuck up and pretentious after getting her fame. Her native country and it's people suddenly weren't good enough for her anymore! Her late ex-husband, the same man who helped her boost her career, and gave her his surname, which she became famous with, was from the same town as myself. His family live a few streets away from me, I have known them for years, I am friends with his niece. And when he died, Sheena never contacted a single person in Scotland to pass on her condolences! Yet he had apparently always treated her very well during the years they were together and he did a lot for her to help further her career, and then after they divorced he was good enough to allow her to keep his name and use it for her career, and by all accounts they had stayed very friendly after their divorce and there was no animosity. But she didn't even see fit to spare a single thought for the man who helped her on the way up, even after he passed away! Sheena has forgot that if wasn't for her own home turf over here and the people here - she would be nothing! Scotland made her what she became but she acts as if she's too good for us over here now! She's a stuck-up, fake, pretentious little diva who needs to come back down to earth!
