met him once, walking up Pennsylvania Ave, in my hometown Wash/DC...towards George Washington Univ campus. I was headed to work in Georgetown...he was headed towards the school. I slowed down and extended my hand to shake his "hey, Mr Gregory...its an honor, Sir"...he warmly shook my hand and comes back with "How you doin', son?...trust me, its more of an honor meeting you"...he walked away, waving over his shoulder. Never forgot that...and it is one of the great moments of my life, truth be told. If its a big deal, meeting someone like Jay-Z...why cant it be a bigger deal, meeting someone like Mr Gregory, who helped pave a way for a Jay-Z?
