Dickens in Appalachia with Barbara Kingsolver

What an extraordinary person Barbara Kingsolver is! I came across this interview after reading an article about one of her books in The New Statesman magazine and subsequently Googling her for more information. I now cannot wait to read this and every other book she has written and can only say that Appalachia has a fine representative in her! I thought her young interviewer was excellent also!

I read this book a couple of weeks ago and it has stayed with me. So much so that I keep wanting more. Which is why I keep finding interviews of hers. This work is beautiful!

Why does the guy who's asking a question about writer's block have to plug his own book before asking said question? (especially after BK specifically asked audience members to refrain from sharing redundant information in their questions)? Very slimy.
